2CPR Group Teams Up with Datavideo to Stream RegalCon: A Convention Celebrating ABC's "Once Upon A Time"

Live streaming of panels from the convention dedicated to ABC's hit TV series allows students to gain hands-on experience

2CPR Group, a leading provider of career and college readiness services, recently collaborated with Datavideo, a renowned professional AV equipment manufacturer, to live stream panels from RegalCon. This convention, dedicated to ABC's hit TV series "Once Upon A Time," provided an opportunity for students to engage with the show's content and actors in a more intimate setting than larger events like Comic Con and Wonder Con.

Datavideo supplied the complete range of equipment needed for the live streaming, including PTC-150 PTZ cameras, the SE-700 switcher, TC-200 character generator hardware and software, HRS-30 Recorder, NVS-25 Streaming Encoder, SDI cabling, RMC-180 Camera Controller, and signal converters. By working with a single manufacturer, 2CPR Group was confident that all equipment would be compatible, professional, and supported throughout the event.

The main focus of this collaboration was the hands-on interaction between students and the equipment. Despite the relatively small scale of RegalCon compared to larger conventions, the event offered students a unique opportunity to learn about live streaming and AV equipment in a real-world setting.

One of the challenges faced during this collaboration was the limited time students had to rehearse and learn how to use the equipment. However, the students were able to adapt swiftly, and the production maintained a professional quality throughout the event.

Sean Glumace, Co-Founder of 2CPR Group, Inc., emphasized the importance of this hands-on experience for students, stating, "This partnership with Datavideo allowed our students to gain invaluable practical skills in a dynamic environment. The opportunity to work with professional-grade equipment and contribute to the live streaming of RegalCon has not only enriched their learning experience but also prepared them for future career opportunities in the entertainment industry."

The successful partnership between 2CPR Group and Datavideo highlights the benefits of collaboration between educational service providers and industry leaders. This collaboration not only provided students with hands-on experience using professional-grade equipment but also brought the excitement of RegalCon to a global audience of "Once Upon A Time" fans.
